05/23/2010 - College PREP - New Orleans, LA Dylan is a strong, athletic OF with good skills. Defensively, Dylan has soft hands and he works to get behind the ball well. He tracks the ball well, makes plays, and delivers the ball accurately with a loose arm action. If Dylan can loose his front leg and get rid of the ball quicker, we could see already solid defensive numbers become even better. Offensively, Dylan has good bat speed and barrel accuracy. He has a wide base, good load, and a strong top hand. Dylan is a patient hitter and if he can let the ball travel a little deeper and shorten up his stroke, hitting and power numbers could spike.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
