08/03/2017 - Baseball Factory Pro Select Training & Tournament at Historic Dodgertown (Ages 14-18) Dylan is a hardworking C/2B prospect who has an athletic, projectable build and graduates in 2018. As a right-handed hitter, Dylan has an open stance with his weight on his toes. He tracks the ball well and takes a load with a closed stride as he uses his lower half throughout his swing. Dylan grinds through his ABs and finds a way to get on base. He is a contact type hitter who has the ability to spray the ball to fields. Behind the plate, Dylan stays square to the pitcher and works to keep everything in front of him. He stabs at the baseball and receives it with a firm glove. Dylan has a long exchange leading into a long arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. His throws are accurate with online strength down to 2B. Overall, Dylan is a coachable prospect who plays the game hard and has potential to advance his skills with development.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
