08/29/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Baltimore, MD Dylan is a lean 2B/RHP with a bright future in baseball. At second base, he demonstrates smooth, fluid movements, solid footwork, and clean hands, with his range expected to improve as he increases his foot speed. At the plate, Dylan impresses with a squared setup, quick hands, and a level swing path, making consistent, solid contact and using all parts of the field. On the mound, his fastball sits between 50-58 mph, and his breaking ball ranges from 45-46 mph with a gradual 10/4 shape. As he continues to build arm strength through a long toss program and refine his off-speed pitches, his velocity and overall performance on the mound will improve. With significant growth potential, Dylan has a promising future in the game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
