09/22/2024 - National Showcase - Trenton, NJ Dylan is a third baseman and right-handed pitcher who is set to graduate in 2026 and demonstrates solid fundamentals and promising potential. In the field, he starts with a good prep step and shows strong carry on his throws, moving well laterally and keeping his feet active throughout the throwing process. At the plate, he hits from a crouched and closed stance, utilizing a short barrel path that allows him to use the whole field while swinging with intent. On the mound, he displays good rhythm, throwing from a 3/4 arm slot with a repertoire that includes a fastball, slider, and splitter. With his skills and work ethic, he has good potential for future success in baseball.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
