11/09/2023 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in California (Ages 14-18) Dylan is a 2025 OF/RHP who showcased his skills during the BF Select Training and Competition. In the OF he shows athletic actions and gets good reads off the bat. He made accurate throws into infield with an arm velocity up to 74mph. On the mound he has repeatable delivery and works with good direction down the slope of the mound. He attacks hitters with a FB that topped out at 66mph, a 10/4 shaped slider, and changeup that he throws with FB arm speed. In live game action, Dylan worked 2 innings of 1-hit ball and punched out 1 batter. At the plate he hits from a crouched and square stance with comfortable hands. He shows quick hands and a fast barrel through the hitting zone with natural juice in his swing. In live game action, he made consistent contact and reached base on 2 singles. We look forward to seeing him at another event in the near future.

07/13/2023 - National Showcase - Tacoma, WA Dylan is an OF who will graduate in 2025. Tall frame lean build with strength present and room to add throughout. In the OF he shows efficient footwork with ability to make routine plays. Fields ball out front from a low square fielding position. Shows ability to pick out hops as he works through the baseball. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot, with a long arm stroke in back, and an arm velocity up to 77mph. At the plate he hits from an upright and even stance. Shows an on-time stride with good hand separation. Gets extended through the baseball as he hit balls to the pull side with a bat exit velocity up to 75mph during BP. As he continues to develop and mature, we see Dylan having a bright future on the baseball field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
