06/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Florida Dylan is a 1B/RHP who has a very bright future in this game. At the plate, he has strong/centered balance with fluid rhythm to load. He takes an absolute hack - crushing the ball to the deep parts of the park (exit velocity = 95 mph). At 1B, he has plus lateral range for a big guy, working from the ground-up with smooth actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Transfer is quick as he fires strong throws zipping across the diamond. On the mound, Fastball shows a range of 87-89 mph with sinking action. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break and is an outstanding pitch that will get outs. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a plus feel for the pitch with sinking action. Command/control is well above average as he locates well to both sides of the plate. Dylan will play at a very high level and make an immediate impact.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
