Dylan showed similar skills in Delray as in previous workouts. He is a solid catcher that will graduate in 2019. Defensively, Dylan sits-in athletically, footwork is efficient, and he looks the ball into his glove. He takes good angles to block, has a clean exchange, and throws with accuracy from a quick arm action. At the plate, Dylan has an open stance, good balance, and solid barrel accuracy. He has a line drive approach and gets his lower body through.

Dylan continues to work hard and progress in his game. Behind the dish, he sits in well with athletic actions as he tracks the ball into his mitt. Exchange is clean as he gains ground toward 2B on his throws down, with pop times now as low as 2.66. At 1B, Dylan works hard to get around the GB and gets into a square fielding position. He works well around the bag and is sure handed. Working to present his glove and field the ball more out in front will help to improve defensive abilities at 1B. Offensively, this RHH shows patience as he tracks the ball into the hitting zone. He has rhythm to load and swings on a level path, during the middle of the field. A shorter/more direct swing path will increase bat speed and pop off of his barrel. Only a 2019 grad - Dylan still has a ton of time to develop his skills.

Dylan is an athletic C/RHP, who projects well as a C, and has good potential as a hitter. At the plate he has a great setup, with good rhythm and timing in the load and swing. He shows great hands with the ability to track the baseball, allowing him to see the baseball deep in the hitting zone and hit the baseball well to all fields. Behind the plate he shows soft sure hands, and receives out front getting calls for his pitchers. Dylan does a good job leading and communicating as the catcher and leader of the defense. On the bump he has good direction to the target, and fields his position well. Dylan needs to continue developing other pitches, and learning to use his body to throw the baseball.
