10/11/2023 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic (2027) Eamon continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities on the diamond at the Arizona FR Fall Classic. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 1B, he shows active footwork and presents his glove out front to field. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork around the bag and he is a quality receiver. He has a quick release and allows his throws to remain accurate with carry (87 mph velocity) through his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, power potential has improved now with power potential through an open setup. He is smooth getting into his load and comes through the zone well with his lower half. He takes a direct swing to the ball with fast bat speed (84 mph exit velocity) which leads to hard contact. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 79 mph. Fastball showed a range of 76-79 mph with tailing action. Breaking ball displays 2/8 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to increase as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Eamon is a 2027 1B/LHP who showcased his skills during the BF Rookie PSAA Tournament. At 1B, Eamon showed athletic actions, with quick/fluid footwork, and works from the ground up. He works from left to right and fields from an athletic/low fielding position with soft hands out front. He presents a big target at first base with ability to scoop balls. He made accurate throws to second base from multiple arm slots, with a quick arm stroke, and an arm velocity up to 71mph. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and even stance with high hands. Activates his hands, with smooth rhythm to swing, and showed ability to keep his hands inside the ball. A good hip turn enables him to hit balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 72mph during BP. A left-handed pitcher, he has good feel for pitching and competes on the mound. He gathers over the rubber and works with good direction down the mound. He attacks hitters with a FB that topped out at 74mph with tailing action, and a 1/7 shaped breaking ball that flashes some depth. In 3 innings of work, he struck out 4 batters and didn't allow a hit. Eamon is solid 2-way player who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Eamon is a young prospect with likeable qualities in the 2026 class. He has a solid base of fundamentals which include keeping direction on his throws and good foot work around the bag. At 1B he presents his glove well. With repetitions there he will become a solid first basemen. Offensively, he shows some intriguing pull-side pop. For his age he has quality bat speed and bat path. As he continues to develop the ball will start to carry off that bat because of his current qualities and his ability to make consistent contact.

07/22/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (MS) Eamon is a coachable 1B/LHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, Eamon shows active footwork with a quick first step. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with life through his target. Long tossing can help Eamon build up his arm strength. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an open stance and takes a short stride. He rotates his core through his swing and gets good extension through the ball, producing solid contact. Eamon can create more consistent contact by working through a shorter swing path. On the mound, Eamon gathers over the rubber and works with a clean arm. He stays inline toward the plate and drives his back leg through. Eamon operates with a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 61mph with sinking action. Breaking ball sits at 54mph with 1-7 break. Having more controlled hand separation can help Eamon improve his pitch command. With five more years to develop, Eamon has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Academic All-American Tournament (MS) Eamon is a 2026 LHP/1B. Eamon continues to show improvement in all facets of his game. At 1B, Eamon shows efficient feet with a good first step at batted balls. Fields out front from an athletic and low fielding position with soft hands. Good carry on his accurate throws to all bags with an arm velocity of 64mph. Showed good touch on his DP feeds. On the mound, pitches with good tempo and attacks hitters. Throws a sinking FB that topped out at 60mph. Flashed a 1/7 curveball that has potential to be a swing and miss pitch. In 3 innings of live game action, Eamon fanned 3 and induced soft contact. A long toss and J-band program will help with velocity and command. This left-handed hitter starts with an upright and open stance. Hit line drives to all fields, with a bat exit velocity of 70mph, during his BP round. With continued growth and develpment, we foresee Eamon having a bright future on the baseball diamond.

09/04/2020 - MS All-Region Tournament Eamon is a 1B/LHP prospect who showcased his skills during the All-Region Tournament. In the field, Eamon fields the ball out in front of his body with soft hands and makes consistent throws to his target. Getting into a more athletic fielding position can help Eamon field ground balls more efficiently. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He shows smooth rhythm and sprays the ball to all fields. Eamon can barrel up more baseballs by taking a more level swing path. On the mound, Eamon shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 57mph. Breaking ball sits from 48-50mph with 11-5 break. Only a 2026 grad, Eamon still has a lot of time to further progress his skills on the field.

07/18/2020 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Eamon is a lean LHP/1B who will graduate in 2026. At 1B, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate he shows a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 56-58 mph. Breaking ball displays 1/7 shape with gradual break. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving abilities on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable. With 6 years to further develop, Eamon has a lot of potential with time and room to continue to progress his game.

10/13/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Lexington, KY Eamon is a young, 2-way player who pitches and plays 1B. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
