05/28/2019 - 2019 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South Ebik is an athletic SS that will graduate in 2020. Defensive grades are well above average as he displays smooth/fluid actions. He moves well laterally with range improving as he improves foot quickness. Hands/feet work well together through the fielding process and shows big play potential. Throws are accurate but he will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a simple/level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a solid live drive approach. Power numbers will continue to improve as he learns to use his lower half more. Ebik has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
