10/07/2012 - College PREP - Mt. Laurel, NJ Eddie is a thin, 2-way player who pitches and plays 3B. On the mound, Eddie has a loose arm action, he works to his balance point well, and he keeps his eyes on target. He has level shoulders, he lands in a square position, and his overall mechanics are solid. More lower 1/2 explosion and added arm strength will improve mound effectiveness. At 3B, Eddie has sure hands, efficient footwork, and he throws with consistency across the diamond. He will need to play lower, play more through the ball, and add arm strength to improve INF skills. Offensively, Eddie has a square / athletic set-up, good balance, and average bat speed. He has a line drive approach and gets his lower body through. More direct hands to the ball and staying level can help average hitting numbers improve.
