07/10/2015 - 2015 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National East Reese is a solid/athletic OF with great speed. He was timed at 6.53 in the 60 yard dash, and showed that speed in the OF tracking down fly balls covering a ton of ground. EP has very good body control, he moves quickly to the ball, and his hands are sure. Throws are strong and show carry & accuracy into his target. Offensively, EP has quick hands through a balanced/athletic set-up. He whips the barrel with plus bat speed, uses his lower body well, and stays loose through the zone with good hand-eye coordination. He squares the ball up consistently and drives the ball to all parts of the field. EP has a very bright future in this game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
