Elijah continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.22 runner. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Receiving / blocking skills show as quality tools that will play well at the next level. Pop times showed in 2.09 range with accuracy / carry (84 mph velocity) on his throws. At 2B, defensive abilities are now solid as he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Hands are firm and presents out front. He moves well laterally and utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. At the plate, hitting abilities are excellent with outstanding power potential through an open setup. Hands are quick (84 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields and has strength in his swing with gap to gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn.

Elijah is a catcher in the 2024 class who performed well at the recent BF Pre-Season All-American event. Behind the plate, he has effective feet and agile movements. Has a low and athletic stance and presents a solid target. He tracks the baseball well and can maintain the strike zone. He uses short arm action from a high ¾ slot to make on-line feeds (2.20 pop/83 velo) to the bag. At the plate, he begins in a squared stance and has a short stride. His path is level and generates hard contact. The ball jumps off the bat (82 exit velo) and shows gap-to-gap production. Overall, Elijah is a 2024 prospect to keep an eye on.

Elijah is a C who will graduate in 2024. Medium frame, with broad shoulders, athletic build with strength present and room to add more strength. Behind the dish, easy sit who showed good agility and quiet actions. Gains ground with good direction towards second base. Creates good blocking angles and displayed a soft chest as he deaden balls. Showed a quick arm with accurate/online throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and an arm velocity of 82 mph and a best pop time of 2.18 seconds. A right-handed hitter, hits from an even stance. Uses lower half with good balance through contact and a fast bat. Flat bat path who made square contact and hit balls into both gaps. Reached base multiple times and had a recorded bat exit velocity of 88 mph during live game action. With 2 more years of continued growth and development, we foresee him having the opportunity to play at the next level.

Elijah is a an athletic framed catcher in the 2024 class. Behind the plate, he continues to improve upon his skills and will keep moving them forward over the next two years as he gets closer heading the to next level. His blocking/receiving ability grade well at his young age. Shows polished technique behind the dish with the ability to move well laterally. As he firms up his receiving ability, the exchange will get quicker and the pop time will benefit from that. At the plate, he works inside the ball and uses the opposite field often. Can square up balls consistently with a smooth and on-plane swing. His line-drive approach will turn into gap-to-gap power as he matures over the next 2 years.

Behind the plate, feet are aggressive and active as he works in line to his target, through a clean transfer / exchange as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.01 with accuracy and carry (82 mph exit velocity) on his throws. Receiving / blocking skills show as quality tools that will play well at the next level. At the plate, he continues to shine, now displaying with well above average hitting and solid power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing and shows a feel for the barrel. With 3 years to further develop, Elijah has the makings of a special type player as he continues to progress his game.

Elijah is a solid prospect at the catching position who continues to progress. Behind the plate, he starts in a low, athletic position with good flexion and sway. He presents a soft target and sticks pitches in the zone, framing well. A quick exchange and short arm action allowed him to record his best pop time to date (2.26). Blocking technique is advanced, as he has great lateral range and agility being on time to balls in the dirt, deadening the ball and keeping it in front. Offensively, the starts with a square setup with good balance and a centered base. He gets his hands back into a strong load/launch position and jumps on pitches he likes. He hits the ball where it's pitched and sprays it to all parts of the field. Utilizing and using his lower half more efficiently will help increase power. Overall, Elijah has upside and a bright future on the diamond.

Elijah is an athletic C/SS prospect who will graduate in 2024. Behind the plate, Elijah is agile moving to block and keeps the ball in front of him. He sits in an athletic stance and presents a good target to the pitcher. He throws from a 3/4 angle and works to keep his throws accurate to the 2B bag. Making a quicker exchange can help Elijah improve as a C. At SS, Elijah shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate and on-line to his target. Playing through the ball more can help Elijah improve as a SS. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and gets into his load well. He leads with his lower half and produces line drives to all fields. Elijah can improve as a hitter by taking a shorter stride. With four more years to develop, Elijah has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.
