01/17/2025 - 2025 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament

His 81 mph arm velocity gives him the strength to make accurate throws across the diamond, making him a reliable defender at shortstop.
At the plate, Johnson shows an 87 mph exit velocity and 50% barrel accuracy, demonstrating the ability to drive the ball with consistency. His elite grip strength (143R/137L) suggests raw power potential and strong bat control, which will continue to develop as he refines his mechanics and approach.

02/05/2023 - National Showcase - Jackson, MS
Elijah continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 6.80 runner. At SS, defensive abilities have improved as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to square balls up, working from ground up. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground in the MIF. Throws are accurate with carry (81 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (80 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through an aggressive hip turn. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 71-73 mph with arm side run and sinking action. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.
12/02/2022 - Baseball Factory Academic All-American Tournament
Elijah is a SS/RHP in the 2025 class. In the field, he has effective footwork and gains an athletic and low fielding position. His exchanges are crisp and clean and uses multiple arm slots based upon his defensive zone. His feeds have pinpoint accuracy and depth across the diamond. On the mound, he uses two pitches from a high ¾ slot. He relies on his FB, which topped at 73. His CB has sweeping action and sat 64. At the plate, he generates hard contact (87 exit velo). He tracks the ball well from a balanced set-up and short stride. Stays inside the ball well for line drive production. Overall, he is a must follow in the 2025 class.
11/18/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Fall Prospects Tournament (HS)
Elijah is a 2025 2B who showcased his skills during the Fall Prospects Tournament. Ran his 60-yard dash in 6.93 seconds. At 2B, he shows athletic actions, with active footwork, and showed ability to close distance on batted balls. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body with a low funnel. Made accurate throws to first base from multiple arm slots with an arm velocity up to 78mph. Showed good internal clock as he gets rid of the baseball in a hurry. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and relaxed stance with high/loose hands. On-time rhythm to swing and is controlled throughout. Showed good bat to ball skill as he hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 84mph. In live game action, he reached base 4 times with a single, 2 walks, and reached on an error. Elijah is a solid player who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
Academic All-American Tournament (MS)
Elijah is a 2026 2B/RHP. Medium frame with strength present and plenty of room to add more. He ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. At 2B, Elijah showed ability to make routine plays. His arm strength stands out as he throws from a side arm slot and a raw arm velocity of 74mph. On the mound, this right-handed pitcher filled up the strike zone. He threw 17 of his 25 pitches for strikes. He throws a FB that topped out at 66mph with some run and a 10/4 shaped CB with good depth. In live game action, he fanned 3 and induced soft groundball contact. At the plate, this right-handed hitter hits from a square and tall stance. During BP, Elijah showed some pull side power with a bat exit velocity of 70mph. With continued growth and development, we see him having opportunities to play at the high school level and beyond.
11/22/2020 - All-In Membership - Montgomery, AL
Elijah is a lean SS/RHP who will graduate in 2026. At SS, he displays smooth fluid actions. Feet are active and plays through with his body. Glove action is but needs to present more out front. He moves well laterally and utilizes his quick feet (7.26 60 time) in covering ground in the MIF. At the plate, he shows a tall setup. Hands are loose and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach. On the mound, fastball ranges from 60-63 mph. Breaking ball shows 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but throws too hard, resembling fastball. With 6 years to further develop, Elijah has potential with time and room to progress his game.
