11/14/2021 - All-In Membership - Las Vegas, NV Erik is a 3B prospect who will graduate in 2023. Medium frame athletic build with strength present and room to add throughout. In the infield, he starts with active feet and good lateral range. He fields from an athletic/low fielding position and has a quick transfer. Made on-line throws across diamond, with good direction towards target, and an arm velocity up to 79mph. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and square stance. Has natural strength in swing, with an aggressive approach, and a good bat angle at contact point. Showed a fast barrel through the hitting zone and made hard contact during BP. Hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 76mph. With 2 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Erik having a bright future on the baseball field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
