12/19/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Franklin (College Station), TX Ethan is an OF prospect who will graduate in 2021. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth to load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a level swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and gap to gap pop. Keeping his hands inside the ball can help Ethan produce more consistent contact. In the field, Ethan covers ground well and gets into a square position. He fields the ball out in front of his body and works to make accurate throws to his target. Ethan can build up his arm strength by long tossing. Overall, Ethan is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
