06/20/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Bridgeport, CT Evan is a tall, athletic RHP/OF. Defensively in the OF, he displays active footwork and is aggressive to the GB. He fields the ball athletically with soft hands and comes up with a clean exchange to throw. On the mound, this righty separates on time and drives his lower 1/2 off the back of the rubber. He delivers a 3-pitch mix with clean arm action as he works in line towards home plate. With the stick, Evan shows a square/athletic setup with smooth rhythm to load. He whips his barrel fast on a direct path through the zone and drives the ball with power to all parts of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
