01/07/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (AZ) Everet is a tall/athletic 2-way player who plays 3B and RHP. Defensively, Everet has good hands, playable footwork, and he makes plays consistently. He keeps the ball in front of his body, his exchange is clean, and he throws with strength and accuracy from a quick arm action across the diamond. Defensive skills can get better if Everet can quicken feet and field further out in front of his body. On the mound, Everet has a good set-up, on-time separation, and level mechanics. He has good glove side lead, solid pivot off his back foot, and he competes well in the zone with his pitches. Everet's CB shows good 11-5 bite and is currently his best pitch. More front arm extension and better use of his lower body will help abilities on the mound improve. Offensively, Everet has good balance, a short stride, and he tracks well. He has a rhythmic swing, fast bat speed, and he makes square contact to all fields. Hitting can get better if Everet can let the ball travel deeper and use more lower body.
