10/10/2020 - Fall College Prospect Video + Evaluation Experience - PA (HS) Fisher is a tall, lean, and athletic RHP/1B who has a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best, displaying outstanding hitting / power potential through an open setup. Hands are quick (86 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap pop. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are clean and presents well out front. Range is a plus (7.38 60 time) as he moves well laterally and covers ground. Throws are accurate with on line carry (85 mph velocity) to his target. On the mound, delivery is sound / repeatable as he shows good tempo through a strong balance point, allowing his arm action to work quick and free to the plate. Fastball shows a range of 77-79 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. With 2 years to further develop, Fisher has an upside and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
