08/29/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Baltimore, MD Frank Lester is a C/3B prospect that recently played at the All-Ripken Games. on the mound his fastball was clocked at 55 mph. He had a really good outing only giving up one hit and only walking one. He is a picture that trust his defense and isn't obsessed with the strike out. Bottom line he got the job done. at the plate he has an athletic open stance and looks fairly comfortable in the box. He was able to collect two hits and was hit by one pitch. Reaching base and almost half of his plate appearances. Overall, he is a good ball player with lot of room to grow.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
