10/24/2021 - All-In Membership - Columbia, SC Fritzy is a tall, athletic 3B who has a promising future on the diamond. At 3B, defensive abilities are well above average as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he works around and plays through balls with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. He moves well laterally and utilizes his foot quickness (7.38 60 time) in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate flashing carry but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Fritzy has a lot of potential and will get looks from the college coaches as he continues to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
