01/06/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Jacksonville, FL Gabriel is a LHP/OF prospect who will graduate in 2024. On the mound, Gabriel gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He has a clean arm circle, and finishes with a controlled landing toward home plate. Gabriel shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 55mph with tailing action. Change-up sits from 50-51mph as he throws with deceptive arm speed. In the field, Gabriel makes the routine plays and works to make accurate throws. Offensively, this LHH sets up in a closed stance and takes a level swing to the ball. Overall abilities can improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
