04/23/2023 - National Showcase - Binghamton, NY George is a talented SS in the 2026 class. In the field, he has effective feet (7.12 runner) and has an understanding of creating angles to the baseball. The ball sticks to his glove and he uses a long ¾ slot for his release. Working to sink his hips and play under the baseball will help him read hops and use his legs on his throws. In the batters box, he swings with intent and loads his hands well. He stays square to the plate and his balance is inside his feet. Bats speed plays at 80 exit velo and shows pull side production. Overall, George has a bright future on the diamond.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
