06/04/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Medford (Boston), MA Gianpaolo is a 1B/RHP who will graduate in 2022. Defensively at 1B, he hustles hard as he tries to get into a square fielding position on GB's. He fields the ball, sets his feet and makes accurate throws to his target. On the mound, this righty gets to a tall balance point. He delivers a 3-pitch mix from a hi 3/4 arm slot and works in line towards his target. With the bat, Gianpaolo shows a balanced setup. He drives his lower 1/2 through as he squares up pitches in the zone. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
