04/05/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Myrtle Beach, SC Graeme is a talented young prospect who really impressed in Myrtle Beach at the PreSeason All-Ripken Games. He was on base often thanks to a double, a pair of singles and several walks. He showed plate discipline while still being aggressive when he saw a fastball he liked. Keeping his swing short and compact will continue to lead to consistent barrel accuracy. As a defender Graeme showed athletic actions in the infield with sure hands and a good exchange and release. His short, quick arm stroke finished plays well and also translated well to the mound where he pitched effectively. His delivery is clean and repeatable with good finish. Graeme's fastball was up to 50 mph and he paired it with a good curve that had tight spin and worked as a swing-and-miss pitch. There is a lot of upside for this young man who plays hard and has some developing talent on the diamond.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
