05/18/2008 - College PREP - Baltimore, MD Gregory is a small strong player and although he also pitches with above average accuracy and a directional delivery, he is more suited for 3B at this point. At 3B, Greg has an aggressive approach and soft hands. He transfers the ball well and fires it across the infield. He must learn to stay on the balls of his feet and play through the ball in order to increase agility and momentum to target. At the plate, Greg has bat speed and hits a ton of line drives. He hits everything up the middle and in the gaps. He has a great approach at the plate.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
