12/20/2022 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at JRTC - Session 1 Gregory is a 2026 LHP/OF out of Colleyville, TX who showcased his skills during the BF Christmas Camp and Tournament. In the OF, he starts on the balls of his feet, with active/efficient footwork, and works through the baseball. Gets good reads off the bat and runs good routes to baseballs. A high 1-hand catch and works with good momentum to his target. He has a clean funnel off of his right foot and keeps his feet active on his throws. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and closed stance with high hands. He gets extended out front as he sprays balls to all fields. In live game action, he proved to be a tough out, with good plate discipline, and reached base multiple times. A left-handed pitcher, he works exclusively from the stretch. Has long levers and a projectible frame. He picks up his target early and strides in-line to target. He attacks hitters with a FB that topped out at 72mph with good movement, and a 1/7 shaped breaking ball. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Gregory as he enters his freshman baseball season.

08/04/2022 - Baseball Factory Summer World Series at the NY Mets Spring Training Complex Gregory is an OF/LHP out of Colleyville, TX who will graduate in 2026. Medium frame lean build with strength present and plenty of room to develop. In the OF, good reads off bat and efficient footwork enables him to take good routes to balls. Square fielding position as he fields ball out front with ability to make routine plays. Throws from an over the top arm slot with an arm velocity of 73 mph into infield. On the mound, this left-handed pitcher works with good tempo. Good direction towards plate and ability to throw strikes. Attacks hitters with a FB that was up to 73 mph, a breaking ball 2/8 shape, and a changeup he throws with FB arm speed. A left-handed hitter, starts with an athletic and open stance. Quiet head/eyes enable him to track pitches well. Showed good awareness of the strike zone. Simple and balanced swing with ability to hit balls to all fields with a recorded bat exit velocity of 67 mph. As he continues to develop and mature, we see him having a bright future on the baseball field.

06/06/2022 - All-In Membership - Plano (DFW), TX Gregory is an OF prospect who will graduate in 2026. Medium frame lean build with strength present and room to add strength throughout. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
