12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory West Coast Holiday Classic (HS) Griffin is a 2027 shortstop from San Diego, CA, who worked hard at the Baseball Factory West Coast Holiday Camp. He demonstrates quick feet and good agility, fielding from an athletic position with soft hands out front. His throws show a short arm stroke and are accurate, with an arm velocity reaching up to 82 mph. Griffin will benefit from focusing on attacking the ball downhill to further refine his fielding. At the plate, Griffin starts in an open stance with high hands and has a well-timed swing that allows him to make consistent contact. In live game action, he had two singles, a walk, a sac-fly, and added three stolen bases. As a sophomore, Griffin has a lot of time to continue his development and is poised for growth in both his fielding and hitting skills.

10/02/2024 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic (2027) Griffin Hart delivered an impressive performance at the Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic, showcasing his abilities as a second baseman. He achieved a personal best in the 60-yard dash, highlighting his speed and athleticism on the base paths. Defensively, Griffin displayed excellent hands and an accurate arm, making him a reliable presence in the infield. His ability to field ground balls cleanly and make accurate throws enhances his overall defensive profile. At the plate, Griffin demonstrated strong bat-to-ball skills, rarely swinging and missing, which speaks to his solid approach and timing. He recorded an RBI single and also showed patience by drawing a walk, indicating his ability to contribute offensively in key situations. 07/24/2024 - Baseball Factory Teams - Southwest Championships 18U Griffin Hart is a 2027 middle infield prospect with a standout attribute in his arm accuracy. Throwing from a 3/4 arm slot, Griffin's clean exchange allows him to consistently release the ball quickly, staying a step ahead of hitters. His precision in making accurate throws, combined with effective double-play feeds, contributed to his solid defensive performance throughout the tournament. At the plate, Griffin utilizes a squared batting stance and is known for his line drive approach. His ability to make consistent, hard contact further enhances his offensive potential. Overall, Griffin Hart’s strong defensive skills and reliable hitting make him a promising prospect with a solid all-around game.

06/10/2024 - All-In National Showcase - Irvine (Los Angeles), CA Griffin is a 2027 grad out of Cathedral Catholic in San Diego. He showed versatility on the diamond working out at both shortstop and in the outfield. In the infield, he shows fluidity in his footwork, creates angles on the ball, has quick glove-to-hand transfer and can throw from multiple arm slots. Arm strength is present coming in at 79mph. In the outfield, he catches the ball at it's highest point and gains momentum towards his target with consistent accuracy on his throws. At the plate, he shows rhythm with a level bat plane. Currently, 77mph of exit velocity off the tee. We expect big things from Griffin as heads into his sophomore year in the fall.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
