10/22/2023 - National Showcase - Highland Park (DFW), TX Harris is a 2026 LHP prospect from Bullard, TX. At the plate, he starts in a tall, open stance and has a short stride to the pitcher. He does a good job of keeping his balance centered and tracks the ball well. He has a flat barrel through the zone and gets good extension through contact. He recorded an impressive exit velo of 83 MPH. On the mound, He throws from a high 3/4 slot and shows good command of the strike zone. He has a simple, repeatable delivery with a clean arm action. He keeps his eyes on his target through his delivery and does a great job of extending through his release point. He gets a proper stride length for his frame and rotates to the target when finishing. He's very coachable on the bump. His FB shows some run and he does a nice job of throwing his CH with FB arm speed. His curveball is his best pitch and he shows off good break with the pitch. Overall, Harris is an exciting prospect that we are looking forward to seeing more of as he continues to develop!

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.
