01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Harrison is a 2027 SS who showcased his skills during the BF Rookie PSAA Tournament. At SS, he starts in an athletic position, with smooth footwork, and ability to pick out hops. He works from right to left and creates good fielding angles. He showed a glove actions as he fields from a square fielding position with soft hands. Made accurate throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 71mph. Showed good touch on his DP feeds. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and relaxed stance with comfortable hands. He gets good hand separation, with a controlled load, and takes an aggressive swing. Showed good barrel control with good extension through the baseball. A compact swing path enables him to hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 69mph. Overall, Harrison is a solid player who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

03/27/2022 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Bronx, NY Harrison continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. He did show on the mound for the first time at the event. At SS, he displays smooth /fluid actions. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. Feet are active as attacks ball and plays through with his body. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through an aggressive hip turn. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 61-63 mph. Breaking ball shows 3/9 shape with across break. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

12/27/2021 - Baseball Factory East Coast Winter Classic Harrison is a smart SS in the 2027 class out of New York. Defensively, he displayed good actions by having a quick first step with the ability to get the glove out front and field the ball with soft hands. He made accurate throws on double play feeds as well as to 1st base. Offensively, he used a tall/open stance with a short stride to work to a firm front side and make consistent contact with barrel control to all parts of the field. Harrison could benefit from programs/drills such as strength training, speed & agility and hitting drills to help stay inside the baseball.

10/03/2021 - All-In Membership - Trenton, NJ Harrison is an athletic SS/OF prospect who will graduate in 2027. In the field, Harrison shows active footwork and is agile covering ground. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly, making accurate throws with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid to load and leads well with his lower half. He works through a direct swing and sprays line drives to all fields. Overall, Harrison is a talented prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
