05/12/2013 - Interactive Video Program - Glen Allen (Richmond), VA Harrison is a thin, 2-way player who plays OF and Catcher. In the OF, Harrison has sure hands, active footwork, and he fields in a low / square position. He takes good angles, gets rid of it quickly, and delivers the ball with accuracy to his target. Behind the plate, Harrison has fluid footwork, soft hands, and he sticks the ball well. He gains ground, his exchange is clean, and he throws with accuracy from a long arm action. Offensively, Harrison has a square set-up, good balance, and his swing is level. He swings in good rhythm, uses his lower 1/2, and makes consistent contact. Abilities can improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
