Henderson is an athletic OF/RHP in the 2025 class. In the field, he has active feet and is agile in his movements to the baseball. Fields in an athletic position and has soft hands with pocket feel. His exchanges are clean and throws the top of the baseball. His feeds are accurate and on-line to his targets. On the mound, he has a feel for pitching and stays poised. His FB topped at 77 and works down in the zone. At the plate, he has an athletic set-up and short stride. Loads his body well and his timing is smooth. Stays inside his feet well to generate consistent contact (7 balls in play in 8 official at-bats). Working on staying tall and above the baseball will give him more backspin and create more power to the gaps. Overall, Henderson is a solid tw0-way player with a bright future.
06/16/2022 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (HS)
Henderson is a 2025 OF/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series in Omaha. In the OF, starts in an athletic position with active/efficient feet and works in good direction towards ball. Good 1st step reads enable him to take aggressive routes to baseball. Throws from a low 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 80mph. A right-handed pitcher, he works exclusively from the stretch and gets to a good balance point. He gathers over the rubber and separates on time. Throws a FB that sat 72-73mph with some sinking action and a 10/4 shaped breaking ball that flashes good depth. During the event, Henderson worked 2 innings and struck out 1 batter and threw 58% of his pitches for strikes. A right-handed hitter begins with an athletic and even stance with a low hand set. He gets on-plane early and showed late bat whip through the hitting zone. Rotates lower half well and hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 75mph during BP. In live game action, he reached base 6 times with 4 singles, and 2 base on balls. With continued growth and development, we foresee Henderson having a bright future on the baseball field.

Henderson is an OF/RHP who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame lean build with strength present and plenty of room to add throughout. In the OF, he plays with good effort/energy and showed ability to cover ground in all directions. Aggressive routes enable him to create good fielding angles as he works through the ball. Showed ability to flip his hips and go get balls. A 2-hand exchange as he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with momentum on his throws into infield. Made accurate and on-line throws through the cutoff man. On the mound, this right-handed pitcher has a good rear hip coil and keeps his eyes on his target. He gathers over rubber and separates his hands on-time. Attacks hitters with his FB that sits 69-70mph with some arm side run, a 10/4 shaped breaking ball with good command, and a developing changeup. At the plate, he starts with a crouched and even stance. Starts with a good bat angle and activates his hands. He keeps his back knee inside his ankle and gets on-plane early. Sprayed balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 73mph. As he continues to develop and mature, we see this 2-way player making huge strides on the baseball field.

Henderson is a 2025 OF prospect who showcased his skills during the All Region Tournament. In the outfield, he shows active footwork and is agile covering ground. He flips his hips and runs down balls in both gaps with a high catch. He creates momentum on his throws and made accurate throws with an arm velocity up to 67mph. At the plate, he hits from a crouched and square stance. Starts with a small hand load as he works through the baseball with a high finish. A good contact hitter, he sprayed balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 70mph. During the games, he reached base multiple times including a double and 2 singles. With 4 years of continued growth and development, we see Henderson make huge strides on the baseball field.
Academic All-American Tournament (MS)
Henderson continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the OF, he displays smooth actions. He takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He work to get behind and plays through with momentum to his target. He moves well laterally with range improving as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a tall, squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 65 mph. Fastball shows a range of 62-65 mph with sinking action. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.
12/27/2020 - Baseball Factory East Coast Winter Classic
Henderson is a lean OF/RHP who will graduate in 2026. In the OF, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he tracks proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He needs to work to get behind balls to play through well with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an athletic, squared setup. Hands are quick and work through level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, he throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Fastball showed a range of 62-64 mph with arm side run. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but throws too hard, resembling fastball. Control is a plus as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving abilities on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, plays hard, and is very coachable. With 6 years to further develop, Henderson has potential with time and room to progress his game.
