11/03/2024 - National Showcase - Gambrills, MD Henry is a right-handed pitcher from Baltimore, MD, in the 2026 graduating class who possesses a lean frame with long levers that provide a protectable frame and significant upside as he continues to grow. On the mound, he has a smooth, controlled delivery, loading into his rear hip while keeping his eyes on the target and maintaining a square chest and glove lane. His fastball has arm-side run, and he effectively locates a slider for strikes, demonstrating good command of both pitches. He also features a changeup with solid movement in the strike zone, showing the ability to keep hitters off balance. At the plate, he exhibits a short barrel path and fluid timing, allowing him to get his backside through the swing efficiently. He consistently makes solid contact, hitting the ball where the pitch is located. With two years of continued development, Henry has the potential to refine his skills further and continue progressing as both a pitcher and hitter

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
