01/17/2020 - 2020 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Henry is a lean, lanky 2B/RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. At 2B, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays clean / athletic actions. He utilizes his quick feet in his lateral movements, displaying range. Hands / feet work well together as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Throws display accuracy and carry (89 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he shows as a switch hitter but projects best through an open setup. Hands are quick (80 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a short / direct / level swing path, creating extension. Barrel accuracy is a plus with baseball exploding off the bat when centered with gap-to-gap pop. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 79-85 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with late / sharp bite. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Control is outstanding as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches, working both sides of the plate. With 2 years to further develop, Henry has a big upside and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities, possibly as a two-way guy.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
