11/08/2012 - Baseball Factory Training & Competition at Pirate City Hunter is an athletic 2B who is a competitor. Defensively at 2B, he works around the ground ball and gets into a square fielding position. He gets rid of the ball through a clean exchange and makes accurate throws across the diamond. More aggressiveness and developing his footwork will improve his defensive abilities. At the plate, Hunter displays a closed/athletic setup and good body control. He has quick hands and gets to a solid contact point, squaring up the ball and hitting line-drives. This hard worker has a good attitude and willingness to learn.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
