01/03/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Milton, NY Hunter is an athletic SS who has a promising future on the diamond. At SS, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and carry (81 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, he shows an athletic, open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. With 2 years to further develop, Hunter has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
