10/24/2020 - Official Player Development Membership - West Windsor (Trenton), NJ Hunter is an athletic SS who will graduate in 2022. At SS, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Glove action is firm and present out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he improves his foot quickness. Throws are accurate, flashing carry but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through a crouched setup. Hands are quick and work through an uphill swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently with proper weight transfer. With 2 years to further develop, Hunter has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
