06/27/2023 - National Showcase - Clarksburg, WV Isaac is a talented 1B in the 2028 class. In the field, he has quick and active feet for a 6 ft/150 frame. He covers his defensive zone well and gains a low and athletic fielding position. His hands are soft and his exchanges are clean. Uses a loose high ¾ slot and throws downhill. Arm strength and footwork around the bag will be two key areas for him as he progresses through the game. At the plate, he has a balanced set-up and a quiet head. Sees the ball well by using a short and on-time stride. Working to stay inside his feet and gaining extension through the zone will allow him to utilize his frame and drive the baseball. Overall, Isaac is a solid young player with a lot of potential ahead of him. Scouts are eager to witness his development at future BF events.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
