12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory Holiday Classic at Pirate City Isaac is an outfielder from Alto, MI, who will graduate in 2026 and recently honed his skills at the Baseball Factory Pirate City Holiday Camp. In the outfield, Isaac shows strong pre-pitch actions and works well behind the ball, demonstrating solid fundamentals in tracking and fielding. At the plate, he displays good awareness of the strike zone and consistently takes competitive at-bats. During game action, Isaac reached base on a single, two walks, and was hit by a pitch, showing his ability to get on base in various ways. With another year of growth and development, Isaac's potential will continue to rise, and he has a bright future ahead in the game.

04/28/2024 - National Showcase - Rosemont (Chicago), IL Isaac continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, defensive abilities are solid as he shows smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to present earlier and more out front. In the OF, feet are active as he works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn.

11/02/2023 - Baseball Factory Fall Select Tournament at JRTC Isaac is a ft 9/130 SS/OF in the 2026 class. He continues to climb the ladder and keeps improving with each event. In the grass, he likes to work behind the baseball and plays with controlled aggression. His pocket has feel and he can get the ball back to the dirt with great effectiveness at 78 velo. On the dirt, his body and hands work well together and shows clean actions. Uses a high 3 qtr. slot and working to stay in his legs and follow his throws will help with direction and accuracy. At the plate, he begins in an athletic and squared stance. His hands stay high and keeps his barrel on-plane. He likes to be aggressive and creates flush contact in the hitting zone. Registered 3 hits on the weekend while using the pull side and middle of the field. Overall, scouts loved his coachability and energy and can not wait to see him in action again soon.

09/17/2023 - National Showcase - Beverly Hills (Detroit), MI Isaac is a lean SS/OF who will graduate in 2026. At SS, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active but needs to active ball and play through with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He needs to work to get behind balls more to play through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. With 3 years to further develop, Isaac has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
