01/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Isaiah is a very talented (2020 grad) SS who showed well during his time at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. Defensively, he works from right to left around the GB fluidly tracking the ball into his soft mitt. He extends out in front, funnels smoothly and gains ground through the ball towards his target. Throws are strong and on a line. As a hitter, this righty displays a simple/balanced approach with not much wasted movement. Hands are quick on a direct path as he squares the ball up and hits hard line drives consistently. Entering his sophomore season, Isaiah is one to keep an eye on.

01/13/2017 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Isaiah continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities with a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Defensive abilities in the MIF are now well above average as he displays fluid/smooth actions. Feet are active as he moves well laterally and plays with a ton of energy. Glove action is soft/sure but will benefit by presenting more out front. Arm strength has improved (85 mph velocity) with throws displaying accuracy and on line carry through a loose/quick arm action. At the plate, hands works inside the baseball as he utilizes all fields. Barrel accuracy is a plus with baseball jumping off the bat when centered. Isaiah has the makings of a special type player with time and room to continue to progress his game.

01/15/2016 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Isaiah continues to show the ability to be a smooth defender at 2B. Defensively he works through the ball, arm is accurate, while maintaining solid body control. Isaiah has a clean arm action with quick feeds on double plays. He can continue to focus on shortening his exchange to throw. At the plate, Aguilar displayed a simple load with a good middle approach. He continued to show quick hand action and will continue to improve at the plate with increased hip mobility. Overall, Isaiah continues to stay on track with his development and will be a special infielder at the next level.

07/24/2015 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Isaiah showed strong ability as a two-way player at the Baseball Factory National World Series at Baseball Factory. Defensively, his feet were very quick and efficient to get him into a good position to make plays with his soft glove. He showed plus range and worked through the baseball to gain momentum to throw. Offensively, he had a good, athletic stance and kept his head quiet for plus barrel accuracy. He was quick to the baseball with a good understanding of the strike zone and he extended through the ball well. On the bump, he threw a FB from 72-74 mph, spun an 11/5 CB from 63-64, and showed a CH with sink from 68-69. He was mechanically sound and had loose arm action that got extended through the front side, allowing him to finish with his chest over front knee. All in all - Isaiah just needs to continue growing, maturing physically, and getting his core stronger for high school ball.

01/16/2015 - Baseball Factory Spring Training at the Yankees Training Complex Isaiah is an athletic/versatile player who has a ton of upside. During his time in Tampa he showed very well both on the mound as well as in the MIF. On the bump, he toes the rubber and is ready to compete. Actions are fluid as he gets good glove-side lead and drives downhill toward the dish. He pounds the zone with strikes and makes hitters swing. Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape as he has confidence to throw it in any count. At 2B, Aguilar gets on the balls of his feet and presents his glove out in front. He funnels to a clean transfer/exchange and works in-line toward 1B. DP turns are quick as he gets rid of it efficiently. Offensively, this righty has a balanced setup with athletic actions. He has rhythm to load and hits the ball where it's pitched, using the entire field. As he continues to physically mature and utilize his lower 1/2 in his swing, power will continue to increase. Isaiah is a hard worker who brings his all to the field. He is a gamer who has a bright future ahead of him in the game.

12/27/2014 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 2 Isaiah is a talented middle infielder who competes and shows his leadership skills on the field. In the infield he has quick feet, fields out in front of his body with the proper fielding position, and fields with sure hands. He works around the ball well and gains ground when making throws to 1B. With his athleticism and smooth actions in the field Isaiah should continue to improve and be a quality middle infielder. At the plate, he is athletic and starts his swing with a smooth load. He gets his foot down early and showed a simple approach making solid consistent contact. Isaiah sprays the ball to all fields and should be a viable option at the top of the order as he moves forward in the game.

10/26/2014 - Interactive Video Program - Corpus Christi, TX Isaiah is a skilled 2-way player as as RHP/SS. On the mound, this RHP has a 3-pitch mix coming from a high 3/r arm slot and loose/free arm action. He works to a controlled balance point and maintains level shoulders throughout his delivery. He fills up the zone and throws a ton of strikes. FB ranges from 65-68 mph while showing slight run. Changeup is best off-speed as it shows sink and compliments his FB well. At SS, Isaiah is aggressive and comes to get the groundball. He picks out the hops working from right to left and fielding the ball cleanly. With the bat, this RHH shows a balanced approach with quiet/simple action. Barrel delivery is quick as he has a line-drive approach. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Pitching
1. More lower 1/2 drive
2. Release point
3. Arm strength (long toss)
Defense
1. Play through ball
2. Quicken exchange
Offense

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
