08/01/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Izack is a coachable SS/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, Izack shows efficient footwork and makes the routine plays. Izack can improve defensively by getting into a more athletic fielding position. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a short stride. He shows a smooth rhythm and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed and good extension with leads to hard contact and line drives. Izack can improve as a hitter by working a load into his swing. On the mound, Izack gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm action and extends through on his release. Izack shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 86mph with good sinking action. Breaking ball sits from 73-74mph. Changeup ranges from 76-79mph with sinking action as he throws with fastball arm speed. Izack can improve as a pitcher by driving through more with his lower half. Overall, Izack is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute as a two-way player at the next level.
