12/20/2020 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Jack is a coachable RHP/C prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Christmas Camp & Tournament. On the mound, Jack gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and accelerates through his release, staying inline toward the plate. Jack shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 84mph with late arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 64-68mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 70-72mph with sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Behind the plate, Jack sits in an athletic stance and receives with a firm glove. He gains ground well on his throws and works to keep them accurate to the 2B bag. He moves to block on time and centers dirt balls in the middle of his body. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance with his hands held high. He drives through well with his lower half and extends through the ball well, producing strong line drives. Overall, Jack is a solid prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.
