01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Jack continues to show as a prospect at the All-America Pre-Season Tournament. In the field, he starts in an athletic ready position and fields in a square position. He throws from a high 3/4 angle with online carry to his target. Range is a plus as he utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, this righty has a 3-pitch arsenal in which to keep hitters guessing. Fastball showed a range of 79-81 mph with good arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with tight spin and late sudden break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. Control is solid as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. He works ahead and does a great job of mixing his pitches. Overall, Jack is a talented prospect who has the skill set to contribute at the next level.

06/09/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory All-State Tournament Jack continues to show as a top prospect on the diamond. At the plate, hands are quick (93 mph exit velocity) as he squares the ball up consistently driving it on a line with gap-to-gap pop. Defensively, he takes a quick first step and has plus lateral range. He creates angles around the GB with fluid actions. DP turns are quick with zip (89 mph velocity) on his throws and shows big play potential in the middle of the field. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 79-84 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with cutting action. Control is solid as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches.

09/21/2022 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic (2024) Jack continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities at the Arizona Jr Fall Classic. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.09 runner. At SS, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth / clean actions. Feet are active as attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. He moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground in the MIF. Throws are accurate with online carry (88 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, hitting abilities are outstanding through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (89 mph exit velocity) and works through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. At the event, he was 3 for 6 with a 2B and 3B. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 83 mph. Fastball showed a range of 81-83 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 3/9 shape with across break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. Control is solid as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

01/30/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Bothell (Seattle), WA Jack is an athletic built SS in the 2024 class. He displays athletic actions in every part of his game. A plus runner and a solid defender with good range, active feet, and the ability to work through the ball consistently. Presents a good accurate arm with some carry behind the ball. At the plate, shows an 84mph exit velocity attributing to his fast bat speed. Consistently making hard contact gives him the potential to be an good overall hitter with potential power. As he continues to develop his skill over the next 2 years he will continue to improve upon his bat path so its my direct and allowing him to stay consistent as he moves to the next level.

02/12/2021 - Baseball Factory Opening Day Classic (HS - West) Jack is a 2024 3B. Medium frame athletic build and good strength throughout. Primary third baseman who fields out in front with two hands. Short footwork with a compact arm action with a 3/4 arm slot. Deliberate actions with throws recorded up to 80 mph across the diamond. High baseball IQ. Righthanded hitter with an open stance and high hand set. Line drive oriented approach with a flat swing plane through contact. Four years of continued growth and development will bode well for his career at the next level.

01/08/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament (HS) Jack is a standout two-way (3B/RHP) prospect who is a lot of fun to watch and has made great strides in his game. At 3B, he shows off his glove and range using active footwork and presenting his glove out in front using soft hands. Release is quick with accurate throws that have carry across the diamond. At the plate, Jack stands in the box with an athletic/open stance. He has a controlled load and works through his lower half to create hard contact, producing his best exit velo to date (78 mph). He also has a good presence on the mound with good command of both pitches. He has a solid two pitch mix (FB/CH), FB tops out at 70 mph with a high volume of strikes followed by a CB that ranges 55-57. He maintains fluid tempo, his arm works free and easy and he repeats his delivery well. Jack is a very talented 2024 grad who has a ton of upside and is one to keep an eye on over the next few years.

01/12/2018 - Baseball Factory Spring Training in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Jack is a lean SS who will graduate in 2024. At SS, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active / aggressive as he takes good first steps in attacking the baseball. Glove action is soft / clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a compact swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and plays the game hard. With 6 years to further develop, Jack has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
