08/15/2021 - All-In Membership - Honolulu, HI Jackson is a C/OF in the graduating class of 2028. A young/developing player who has plenty of time/room to add to frame. Behind the plate, he showed active/efficient feet and good agility. Creates momentum towards second base on throws and was able to make accurate and on-line throws, with an arm velocity of 52mph and lowest pop time was 3.8 seconds. Received the baseball well, with soft hands, and quiet actions. In the OF, he starts with fluid/active feet and ability to make routine plays. Creates good angles and fields from an athletic/low fielding position. 1 hand high catch with a short arm and an over-the top-release point. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and even stance. Good load to activate his lower 1/2. Showed an advanced approach, with good extension, and ability to handle the inside pitch. Short/direct barrel path enables him to hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity of 59mph during BP. He is a young prospect with a bright future with continued growth and development.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
