Jackson is an advanced and athletic 2025 prospect coming out of the Atlantic Coast region. A natural MIF with defensive versatility who played 3b as a freshman on varsity, but can handle SS or 2b as he matures and continues to develop. At the plate it’s a quiet set up with a simple load and trigger to start his swing and he stays through the middle of the field to opposite field with consistent hard contact and showing the ability to drive the ball through the gaps. His power plays to the pull side, but his approach is more geared as hit first, power second profile which will play to his swing path and athleticism. He has quick feet and shows burst in his first few steps is working to maintain it for longer periods of time, but the range and fluidity on defense with soft hands and a strong accurate arm allow him to stay on the left side of the dirt. On the mound he has an athletic delivery with a short quick arm action which allows him to attack the strike zone. He works off an aggressive FB with 78-82 MPH velocity and a developing curveball with good depth he throws right around 68-70 MPH. He is advanced on baseball tools, adding increased athleticism and strength, a high performer in game and extremely good make up on and off the field making him a very intriguing prospect for the 2025 class with his overall package to follow as he continues to improve a very solid profile.
