09/26/2010 - College PREP - Kansas City, MO Jackson is a 3B with a lean, athletic body that is well suited for his position and shows projection as he continues to physically mature. Feet are active and aggressive in coming to get, playing through the ball with his body. Glove action is soft, clean, and presented out front as he makes all the plays. Throws show accuracy but will benefit by getting on a long toss program to aid in further developing more arm strength and carry. Offensively is where Schroeder shows best through an aggressive approach. Hands are quick and direct, generating plus bat speed to and through the baseball. He works to keep hands inside, utilizing the middle of the field. Lower half works well through the swing with baseball jumping off his bat as he shows a feel for the barrel. Jackson has a lot of potential with the makings to be a solid player at the collegiate level as he continues to improve.
