08/01/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Myrtle Beach, SC Jackson is an athletic player who performed well at the Ripken Games at Myrtle Beach, SC. Defensively, he is strong and can cover his defensive zone well. On the mound, he has an athletic feel. His FB sat 58-61. His CB has great arm speed at ranged 49-51. At the plate, he has raw power. He collected 2 hits and a walk in game actions while producing several quality at-bats. Scouts feel once he learns to work the middle of the field, he will be a huge force at the plate. Overall, Jackson is a talented player with a bright future in front of him.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
