05/25/2008 - College PREP - Phoenix, AZ Jacob shows as a two way player in the infield and outfield. His body is well above average and shows a ton of athletic actions. Arm strength is well above average showing life and carry with his throws. Foot speed may be Jacob's best tool as indicated by his 60 time. He does a nice job of utilizing his quick, athletic feet in showing range in the outfield taking proper routes and angles. At the plate, Storrer shows well from both side of the plate. He does a nice job of keeping his hands inside the baseball and utilizes all fields, from both sides. Power numbers will rise as his body continues to fill out and mature. Jacob has a lot of raw potential and will catch the eyes of some college scouts.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
