01/10/2021 - All-In Membership - Stockton (Sacramento), CA Jaden is a lean 1B/OF who will graduate in 2022. At 1B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he shows proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases his foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through an uphill swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Jaden has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
