12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory West Coast Holiday Classic (HS) Jaden is an outfielder and right-handed pitcher from Corona, CA, who will graduate in 2026 and worked hard to improve his skills at the Baseball Factory West Coast Holiday Camp. On the mound, he works downhill with good deception in his delivery and demonstrates pitchability. Over two innings of work, he struck out four, didn’t allow a run, and showed that his changeup can be a swing-and-miss pitch. At the plate, Jaden starts in a square stance with good balance, swinging into a firm front side and demonstrating excellent plate discipline. He reached base on two singles, three walks, had an RBI, and stole three bases. In the outfield, he works behind the ball with quick feet and takes aggressive routes, making high one-hand catches and accurate throws with an arm velocity of up to 83 mph. As a junior, Jaden has plenty of time to continue his growth and development.

06/10/2024 - National Showcase - Irvine (Los Angeles), CA Jaden is a 2026 grad out of Roosevelt High in Eastvale. He has made some jumps in ability since our first viewing of him in May 2023. On the mound, his fastball has jumped 10mph and now tops at 82mph with command. Slider sat 65-68mph with sharp break and signs of command while his splitter sat 66-69mph with run. Mechanics are a plus for Jaden. As he puts on size, velocities should continue to climb due to his proper balance on the mound as well as loose, clean arm stroke. In the outfield, ball comes out at 83mph with accuracy. He consistently gets behind fly balls and takes proper routes on balls away from him. At the plate, exit velocity is up 5mph now at 83mph. He sits in with a strong stance, gets extension and uses the whole field. Barrels baseballs consistently. With two years of high school remaining, we expect Jaden to get where he needs to go.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
