10/18/2017 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic Jahli is a gamer, built like a middle linebacker who is all over the field and shows impressive tools. He is a speedster on the base paths, stretching singles into doubles and stealing bases with easy. At second, he is aggressive working to the ball, covering plenty of ground to field low and square with good hands. His first step is lightning quick and he shows good footwork around the bag on double play balls. At the dish, he has an explosive lower half to generate great bat speed through the zone. He gets on plane early and stays in the zone to make consistent, hard contact and spray lasers to all fields. Jahli is a spark plug of a player with tools to be a stud middle infielder.

01/16/2015 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Jahli is a talented middle infielder with next level skills. Defensively, he fields from an athletic, agile stance with smooth, active footwork. He is an aggressive player with a strong DP feed/turn. Offensively, Jahli is a reliable hitter in the lineup with a solid approach. He stays through the middle of the field with a line drive approach. Jahli's future is very bright as he continues to mature physically.

08/15/2014 - Interactive Video Program - South Williamsport, PA Jahli is an athletic 2nd baseman with good skills. Defensively, Jahli is quick to the ball, he fields athletically, and his hands are soft and sure. He has good lateral range, a quick release, and a good arm action with accuracy to his target. At the plate, Jahli has a balance / square set-up, explosive bat speed, and a level swing. He uses his lower 1/2 well, and gets his barrel through the zone. Jahli can improve his skills with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
